About

Hi there!

I'm Samantha Behling, and I have a deep passion for capturing precious moments. Photography, to me, is more than just taking pictures; it's about preserving memories that last a lifetime. What began as a hobby during my college days, when I enrolled in a film photography class, has evolved into a full-fledged passion. Through my experience as a photographer for a magazine company, I've refined my skills and gained a deeper appreciation for the art form.

One of the most rewarding aspects of photography is the diverse range of subjects I encounter and the opportunity to narrate their stories through visual art. If you have any inquiries or would like to collaborate, feel free to contact me via email at samannphotographer@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you!

Preparing for Your Shoot

• Stick to solid, muted colors or large patterns.

• Dark colors are more flattering to the body.

• Be aware if your clothes are wrinkled and needs to be ironed before the shoot.

• Have either a fresh coat of nail polish (preferably one that coordinates with your outfit) or don’t have any nail polish on at all.

• If you are wearing lipstick, bring it with you to do touch-ups.

• This is a time to treat yourself and feel your best! Get your make-up professionally done.

• Be careful of getting sun burns and tan lines before a shoot.

• Be well rested and eat before your shoot. Hangry shows!

• Avoid hats, for the sake of your hair and shadows on your face.

• Keep in mind that glasses can create a glare and if they are tinted we will not see your eyes, which loses the personal connection in the shot.

• For group shots, coordinate clothing. Coordinating color is what really brings a wardrobe together. Choose two to three main colors for the group to express with their own personality.

• Give yourself enough time. You do not want to feel rushed and stressed before a photo shoot.

• Props are always encouraged! It’s a great way to add variety and personality to shoot.

• HAVE FUN!
